Located at Groundseesaw Singapore in Parkview Square, this immersive exhibition takes you into the world of Claude Monet through a combination of art, music, storytelling and technology.
Having previously experienced Van Gogh Inside in the exact same location, I already had an idea of what to expect from an immersive art exhibition. But Monet Inside still managed to mesmerise me. There was something particularly beautiful about seeing Monet's iconic works transformed into a moving, sensory experience.
And what I really enjoyed was that the experience went beyond simply watching the main show. There were interactive activities afterwards, a fun portrait experience, a colouring station and a merchandise store filled with art-inspired keepsakes. I can’t believe I missed all of these the last time I was here since I had to rush back home after the show.

Stepping Into Monet's World
The highlight of the experience is, of course, Monet’s distinctive Impressionist style brought to life through the immersive show itself.
Instead of viewing Monet's paintings in a traditional gallery setting, you are surrounded by his art as it unfolds across the space. The combination of visuals, music and storytelling creates an experience that feels much more immersive than simply looking at individual paintings.
The music adds another layer to the experience, while the storytelling helps bring you into Monet's artistic world.
For me, it was the way all these elements came together that made the experience so mesmerising. The colours, movement and scale of the projections create an entirely different way of experiencing familiar works of art.
If you've visited Van Gogh Inside, you'll probably recognise the immersive format. But Monet Inside has its own atmosphere and personality, and I loved experiencing Monet's world in this way.
The Experience Doesn't End With the Show
One of the things I enjoyed most about Monet Inside was that there were a few interactive activities to explore after the main immersive experience.
This made the visit feel more like a complete art experience rather than simply watching a projection show and leaving. So, make sure you have enough time to fully enjoy the experience after the main show, including the interactive activities, colouring station and merchandise store.
Meet Sketcher: Your Own Portrait to Take Home
One of the most fun activities was Sketcher, an interactive portrait machine that feels a little like a robot artist.
All you have to do is sit in front of it and let the machine do its thing. Within moments, you can watch your face transform into a portrait on paper.
And yes, you get to take the portrait home with you! The best part is that this is included in your admission ticket, so you don't need to pay extra to try it.
It's a fun little souvenir from the experience and something that both adults and children can enjoy.
Get Creative at the Colouring Station
There was also a colouring station where visitors could get creative themselves.
You'll find A4 sheets featuring outlines of famous Monet and Van Gogh paintings, along with colours that you can use to fill them in.
I thought this was a lovely addition to the experience, particularly for families visiting with young children. After spending time watching art come alive around you, you get the chance to create your own version of it.
It's a simple activity, but it adds another interactive element to the visit and gives younger visitors something hands-on to enjoy.
Don't Skip the Merchandise Store
If you're anything like me, you'll probably want to take a little piece of the experience home with you.
The merchandise store has a surprisingly wide selection of art-inspired souvenirs and everyday items featuring Monet and Van Gogh's famous works. You'll find things like:

Whether you're looking for a small souvenir or something a little more unusual, it's worth taking a look around before you leave.
I particularly liked that the merchandise wasn't limited to the usual postcards and prints. There were plenty of practical items that incorporated the artists' works in fun ways.
Our Verdict: Is Monet Inside Worth Visiting?
For me, Monet Inside was a mesmerising experience.
I loved the storytelling, the music and the way Monet's artwork was brought to life through the immersive format. But what made the visit feel even more enjoyable was everything surrounding the main show - the interactive portrait experience, the colouring station and the opportunity to browse the merchandise store.
It's an experience that brings together art, technology, music and creativity, making it an interesting option for both adults and families.
If you've already experienced Van Gogh Inside, I'd still recommend giving Monet Inside a try. While the immersive format may feel familiar, Monet's art creates a completely different atmosphere.
And if you're visiting with children, the interactive elements like Sketcher and the colouring station make it easier to keep them engaged beyond the main show.
